Dear Ian, Dave and Chris and Martin

I am fully in support of your campaign to remove unnecessary obstacles to cycle racing on British roads. I am horrified at the news that it is getting more and more difficult to organise road races. I support any moves to make it easier for cyclists to use the roads, whether for racing, recreation or just for getting about. This must be good for people's health, as well as for the environment. The police have, rightly, to be concerned about safety - as I'm sure are your member clubs - but I find it ironic that cycling clubs should face demands to finance the policing of dangerous motorists.
