Wollaston & Stourbridge Town Liberal Democrat Candidates for May 2012
Because of the sad death of Councillor Margaret Cowell, the voters of Wollaston and Stourbridge Town will be electing two councillors in May rather than just one. The Liberal Democrats are pleased to have two excellent local candidates to present to the voters:
June Collins lives in Cobden Street. She served for 6 years on Dudley council as a Conservative councillor and 8 years as a Lib-Dem councillor. Her services to local people, and to Stourbridge, were immense. She is known foralways being willing to take up local people's problems and attempting to find solutions june@stourbridge-libdems.org.uk
Chris Bramall lives in Duncombe Street. He is a retired school teacher and solicitor. He served 9 years as a Lib-Dem councillor for the
neighbouring ward of Norton and as deputy leader of the Lib-Dem group on Dudley Council. He has also stood four times as candidate for MP in Stourbridge in general elections. chris@stourbridge-libdems.org.uk
Together they make a formidable and very experienced local team. If elected they will fight hard on Dudley Council for Wollaston, the Old Town & Stourbridge Town Centre.
