With less than two weeks until the start of the Athens 2004 Olympics, the Liberal Democrats are calling on the British team to reduce the environmental impact of the Games by travelling on a 'carbon neutral' basis.

At a Council meeting on Tuesday he continued this opposition by seconding a motion from Cllr Jeremy Hyde (Liberal Democrat) calling for these closures to be stopped.
Figures released recently by Transport Minister, Tony McNulty, show that car parking income in the South Hams has increased by a massive 83% since 1997, the highest increase in Devon.
